  • With a category B driving licence, car/caravan combinations up to a maximum total weight of 3,500 kg are permissible.

  • With a category B driving licence, car/caravan combinations up to a maximum total weight of 3,500 kg are permissible.

    With a category B96 driving licence, car/caravan combinations up to a maximum total weight of 4,250 kg are permissible. To obtain a B96 driving licence, no examination is required; however, a course consisting of both a theoretical and a practical part must be completed at an accredited driving school.

    With a BE driving licencewhich requires the successful completion of a practical driving test, car/caravan combinations up to a maximum total weight of 7,000 kg are permissible. The gross vehicle weight of neither the towing vehicle nor the caravan may exceed 3,500 kg.
